Questions about filling out the long-stay(D) visa application

Hello all!

Been a lurker on the forums for about a year and some months now, finally making my debut post My boyfriend of 4-ish years and I have decided to tie the knot in! I'm very excited, but also very nervous, as I want to make sure I make no mistakes.

I am an American citizen and my fiance(I don't know how to do the fancy 'e', don't judge me please ) is Swiss. We plan on getting married in Switzerland and I will live there with him afterward. Therefore, I was told by the Embassy to apply for a D visa for family reunion. I've never done a visa application or anything of the like before in my life, so please keep that in mind.

Now that I have the background info and tea out of the way, I do have some questions about some of the fields on the visa application, if the lovely people of EF would be so kind (Mostly Section B "Purpose of Stay"):

1) Question 22 of Section B wants me to indicate the intended number of months of my stay. Since I plan on living there with my fiance, I'm not sure what I should put there since it asks for a number... Could I write indefinite or something of the like?

2) Question 23 of Section B asks for my intended date of arrival. As I am not sure of when I will be there approximately, should I just put "unsure" or give them my best guess?

3) Question 25 of Section B asks for requested number of entries. I figured a single entry would work, but I'm not sure really...

4) Questions 28 and 29 of Section B are reserved for those applying for the visa for reasons other than family reunion(job, medical treatment, or school) I assume, or am I wrong? Should I just put "Not Applicable" in those fields?

Sorry for the wall of text! I know some of these questions seem like common sense, but I just want to make sure I don't misinterpret anything and prolong the process, as I'm new to all of this stuff.

Be gentle please
