Thank you for the welcome. As for why we decided to get married in Switzerland instead of the USA... There's no particular reason. We did read that getting married in the United States is much easier, but we just decided this is what works best for us. Besides, I don't really mind the paperwork(good experience for the paperwork in the future, I'm sure)
