recommendation for good surgeon for inguinal hernia surgery? any canton

For people who had inguinal hernia repair surgery in Switzerland:
Do you recommend your surgeon? the competency and morals is priority, then (if possible) matches my insurance policy so that I can pay less from my own pocket.

I can go to any canton for this.

A friend recommends me a surgeon in Geneva, but he only performs WITH HOSPITALIZATION in a private clinic, where they only have semi-private and private rooms, the total cost would be around 13.6k CHF (1 night in clinic) and I will have to pay 6.8k on my own,

my health insurance policy:
Mandatory one: 2500 CHF deductible
Complementary hospitalization insurance:
-for public room I will not pay anything except the part invoiced to mandatory insurance(deductible)
for semi-private room: I will need to pay 40% up to 8000 per year.

if I go to any public room hospitalization or do the outpatient option, the max I will pay is 3200 CHF (2500+700)

BUT ONCE AGAIN THE QUALITY of the surgery is priority, because if poorly performed, the hernia may re-occur and it is much more complicated to repair it with a second surgery.

Thanks a lot for your advice
