It's bad enough the ignorance about the UK and what it is like here on the ground, but now we are starting sh!te talk about Ireland.

Sadly it seems to be the way the world is going thanks to the internet and social media. People think they understand or have the answers to a multitude of complex issues, yet they have absolutely no real comprehension. Its not just a dumbing down, its a complete disregard of all expert knowledge or opinion, because somebody once glanced at a page on Wikipedia or read on a thread or forum or twitter feed, or whatever. It used to be I heard it from a guy down the pub so it must be true. Now its multiplied at perpetuated ad infinitum through cyber space.
