That reminds me of Tornatore's movie "Malena"...couldn't watch some images back then. Yes,
some women were doing these sorts of things for obvious reasons. But to imply "French" women or "whatever" women is disingenuous to the core. Some
other women were fighting against the nazis. Why is this suddenly relevant? Bring shame on large groups of people?(not asking you Rufus, it's rhetorical)
