It is made from rye.
The German wording on that page does not necessarily mean it is made "from" rye. Since the old skills needed for baking pure rye bread got almost entirely lost in Switzerland, it may just as well be mostly wheat with some rye thrown in. You can find all kinds of "rye bread" in Switzerland; almost all them are mostly wheat. The only one I know that's a pure rye bread is the Walliser Roggenbrot. Of course I may have missed a few others, but real rye bread is very rare.

One of my nieces is a baker / confectioner in Switzerland, and she has no idea of real rye bread.

Thanks. The Walliser Roggenbrot figures there too, and it is the only pure rye bread in that collection of recipes.
