You're MFK is due when they send you a letter telling you its due. That could be 2 years, it could be 14 years.

"It doesn't expire" is a true statement though, your grey card shows the last time it was done, that's it, it's done until they tell you otherwise.
That is a hopeful news for me, as my old Toyota required 2000+ CHF of useless service to pass inspection (nothing was broken). Swiss car-inspection wizeman did not even test exhaust fumes for compliance. But they sure tested my optional fog lights real good.
Do they even do emission test in Switzerland ? I know they don't do it in Belgium.
