...It's actually a parquet and says so, what gives the game away saying it is a real wood veneer is "Épaisseur de la couche utile: 3.5 mm" meaning there is 3.5mm of wood on top of another type of substance (which goes concrete floor side) that can be sanded.


Old parquets were either square or rectangular pieces, they all now come more or less like laminate.


Laminate is cheaper and harder wearing, parquet looks far nicer but is more expensive



They both cost about the same to lay on the floor
