Get confirmation in writing that they accept responsibility for any outcomes and will pay for all costs arising if you don't get the key back, regardless of the reason. Replacing the main door lock plus all co-renter's keys can be expensive.

Personally, I'd try to find a co-renter who's available most of/all the time, and advise the agency accordingly. Including, if applicable, at what times the key holder won't be around.
