I have never heard of this kind of computation of "remaining value" for an old wall or parquet in Geneva. So, in practice, should I expect to be asked for fraction of the cost of repainting my wall if that was painted more than 5 years ago ?
Depending on the life time (10 years for painting??) you only pay a percentage.
