Iím not saying they donít have tests and stuff and it is pretty damned hard to get into and stay in lycťe but we donít have the added pressure of the entrance exams and the long/short route.
Most places even in the German speaking bits are not like Zurich. Here in Berne you can be recommended by a teacher, only if you do not get the recommendation you have to do an exam, and there is no Lang-Gymi, you enter Gymi in Grade 9.
In Solothurn there is no Lang-Gymi either, only Sek P, entrance is based solely on previous marks. Aargau is similar.
