Brilliant response everyone! this many replies in less than 24 hours says everything about the expat community in Zurich and Switzerland in general!Im looking forward to it.

Listening to the advise I'm veering on the temporary accommodation, putting our stuff in storage and bringing it over later when we have permanent accommodation. Seems like the most practical way of doing it.

I've checked out the cat situation, we have had his rabies jabs and now has a EU pet passport, but what our options are depends entirely what happens with Brexit, nobody really knows yet. the Eu passport may well be irrelevant but we got it just in case.


I've had a look at every link everyone has posted because believe me I want every piece of advise I can get!
