| Well the forum is about the English language and not about English people (which to often seems to be forgotten imho), so if a member decides to use country specific sayings they should expect that not all members know what they want to say.
Besides that the Netherlands has a huge fishing industry and the topic I mentioned is currently relevant :P | |

Sure, but wouldn't a separate thread be a better idea? The Dutch fisheries is kind of linked to the EU but it fades out pretty quickly on a discussion about Brexit.
