I would advise the OP to go to Comparis and check out the Cantonal and Gemeinde tax rates for Nyon and Vaud to work out his or her net salary after tax, pension and AVH, then deduct rent, healthcare cover and transport.

In my experience anywhere close to the railway stations in Nyon, Gland and Rolle is rented out pretty quickly by people commuting the Geneva, especially one and two bedrooms.
