I would like to clarify that the Mieterverband is an association not a for profit business. Members join to support their cause and as a benefit are allowed legal consultations. In a way all renters benefit from this association whether they are members whose fees support their cause or not. A lot of people don’t understand the concept of association here in ch and I’ve even. heard a complaintabout having to pay the 60chf fee after forgetting to cancel membership eventho that person used their legal advise to save 250 an hour for a private attorney.
