The car is really not worth it, anythinmg under Chf 80k new is probably more headache than saving.


But, if you know best, bring it over, do it and start a new thread on how expensive/horrible/cheating the Swiss are.
TO is right, my friend imported a "classic" Jag XJS from CA which he paid $9k for, plus CHF 3k shipping plus around CHF 15k to get it on the road in CH.

So all told around CHF 30k to get an XJS (which was not in that good condition) and the whole process took him around 3 months.

Bearing that in mind, take a look here
