| Hello everyone,
Just one question regarding the taxes. If someone changes a job during the same tax year (2019) should he ask his previous company to send a declaration of the taxes that were paid in source until the day he left or are they obliged to send it after the termination of the contract?
For example:
Job 1, duration January 2019 to May
Job 2, duration June to December 2019 | |

yes, your employer is obliged to provide you with a salary statement for your employment. It is called "Lohnausweis – Certificat de salaire – Salary certificate" and in most cases it is 'pink'.
depending on the companies HR/payroll department and processes, this could be one month / one quarter or whatever after end of employment but they have to provide it before the end of January the following year (so Jan 31st 2020) so you can complete tax returns if needed.
