Re: vaccination dispute

I really hope that you find a solution to this. Anti-vaxxers are amongst the worst people on the planet and shows the dangers of lay people interpreting medical data. The paper that is regularly flung around as a link to autism was not just debunked, most of the researchers admitted that they falsified data and withdrew their findings. The doctor that led the research is banned from practising medicine.

Earlier in this thread it was pointed out that there is no legal basis to force a parent to vaccinate their kid. Would this not also mean that there is no legal implications if a parent decides to vaccinate their kid without the permission of the other?

As a side note, I was getting some vaccinations last year and the doctor who specialises in diseases also explained that thanks to too many unvaccinated here in Switzerland, the MMR I received in the 80s might not be sufficient. Basically the need to receive it once was based on the belief that most of the population is vaccinated. So she gave me a new MMR. I must admit I wondered if it was a way to get more cash out of me but I accepted it anyway! After 2 MMRs I'm still here to tell the story.
