Tom Ticino was never banned though....neither many other ("popular") characters who crossed the line many a time here.

IMO, even if now all these bans seem aleatory, there is no doubt the said characters deserve it. On a proper forum, at least a couple of people here would have been permanently banned a long time ago. There is a lot of tolerance here, but not the right kind of tolerance...
