This isn't the endgame that it might appear to be. Thankfully, the UK has astute political correspondents and commentators who have ruminated many potential scenarios, which has allowed the legal establishment the precious time to get all their ducks in a row. I'm angry that the government has taken this route when it knows full well that the legal big guns are waiting.

Something to watch out for, the stripping of authority of the UK's elected MPs by government members and cabinet ministers. The ever more ironnically named James Cleverly did it yesterday by repeatedly referring to the opposition MPs as "these people". That was a blatant attempt to diminish the authority or our duly elected MPs in the eyes of the public when he knows full well that they are his peers.
