I had a strong feeling about it too but unlike you I had done the right thing and was no longer on the electoral roll so was unable to vote.

How did you not have to send back the forms for all those years and continue to receive the voting papers overseas? There is something very fishy about it all if you ask me.
How many more times? I was NOT on the electoral roll. You had to have been on an electoral roll in the UK within the 15 years preceding the vote. I contacted that municipality to be able to exercise my right to vote as per the law and they immediately sent me the necessary documents to my address in Switzerland.

If you left 20 years ago and you were taken off a couple of years after leaving thatís still 18 years ago which makes you ineligible anyway.
The vote was in 2016, that's over three years ago.
