1) They did say in March they wouldn't unless significant progress had been made, i can't think they would consider Boris as progress


2) Junker leaves on 31 Oct for the new German lady to take over, why would they want to leave a great stinking pile of shit on the desk ? Refuse the extension, clean desk on 1 Nov for the new girl.


3) Seeing the knots the UK is tying itself in would suggest they are incapable of comming to any conclusion this century and nothing has changed, just going around in same sized circles. Maybe the EU will decide to end the misery by refusing an extension.

That's a minor issue. The UK Parliament will come up with some great amendments that the EU cannot refuse and totally convince the UK population.
