Re: Norwegian citizen moving to Switzerland - visa and health insurance?

hey everyone, quick question

ive read that health insurance is compulsory when living in switzerland, with the price ranging from 200-700 chf

is this correct?

i work online, so im assuming i dont need a work permit/that type of visa

just to stay in switzerland for 1 year or more, what visa do i need? whats the cost to get the visa? how long does it take to process?

are there other "compulsory costs" except health insurance when living in switzerland?

what happens if i dont pay for health insurance?
If you reside in Switzerland and work without a permit that is not allowed. If you get a permit and you donít pay your health insurance the canton automatically registers you to a company and sends you the bill.
