On 1, pricing is a very complex issue, what the market will pay is only a part of that.
Pepsi nearly went bust twice by price cutting v Coke. It's very rare that lowering a price will increase the bottom line. Only investing in companies with pricing power allowed me to retire at 52, I don't care about theory, I need it to work in practice.
