Sitting here in France, I don't see there will be anything to explain. The French are just looking on in amazement at the UK's act of self-destruction. Not a peep about acting to prevent the economic damage of whatever the UK decides.
I think everybody in watching in amazement and I also don't see it happen. Unless someone forgets to withdraw article 50 on 31st October.
