Sadly, so can I. I've seen first hand how my partner was treated when we began living together in the UK in 2011, and compare it to how he's been treated since the referendum, to the point that he never wants to live in the UK again. He knows which battles to fight. I'm the one more likely to lose my rag, and he's had to stop me a few times. His brother frequently pulls people up with "You do realise I'm Greek, don't you?" only to be told, "But you're more like one of us than one of them".

It's all very sad.
