Unless he is a citizen of an EU/EFTA country and has been admitted to the bar in an EU/EFTA country, his qualifications will not be recognized in Switzerland, and he will not be permitted to practice as a "lawyer".

This being said, he can work as an inhouse counsel or legal advisor for a company. He will then still have the issue of getting a work permit.
