Depends how high the dividend appears to be, if it's much above 10% in todays market the dividend will likely cut because they cant afford to pay it, if it hits 25% the company is about to collapse, the dividend being so high as the share price has fallen significantly. What part is not true? or is your definition of a high dividend different from mine?
