- SALT promised that I can run the Swisscom connection in parallel until the end of the contract. ...

- apparently the SALT fiber box has difficulties with the CLIP protocol, the landline phone connected to the analog port does not show the number of incoming calls (which it did fine with the Swisscom box).

- the name server in the fiber box does not recognize the hostnames of all devices in my local network, for instance of my Synology NAS

The port used for the fiber line is given by the local EW (electric company) running your network, Salt has no influence on this, they just have the right to give wrong informations ...

There is one setting in the salt box under (expert) network>firewall>firewall>NAT loopback that addresses the issue, if I'm not mistaken

I hope you didn't switch to Salt just to obtain a proper CLIP feature?
For me here it's semi-full-featured, as it alternates in the display with a some-seconds loop between unknown>calling number>unknown>calling number etc.. But on an almost prehistoric fixnet-handheld, maybe this helps.
