Re: Seasonal Affective Disorder, SAD

Yes, every fall and winter. And every time it would start with me thinking "aaaw, I'm such a poor thing" (LOL) then after a week or so I'd wonder "hang on, why am I so down, all is going well". Just to realize I was lacking light.

A few years ago I got a Philips day-light. Worked well, I'd just turn it on in the mornings while zooming about, getting ready to leave. But I still had to go through the phase described above before actually put it to use.

Last summer my doctor detected a bad lack of vitamin D3 during a general blood-test. I take some ever since and this autumn I had absolutely no symptoms although I did notice the grey-in-grey season having started. But this year it was simply "eeeek, how unpleasant"-reaction.
