Re: Excess insurance for rental cars

I checked the policy wordings of worldwideinsure.com and in the General Exclusions section, item 10 states that:
- rental cars with a retail value over GBP 50'000 are excluded
- vans are also excluded

We're planning to do a family trip with some visitors and I thought of renting a small van, e.g. Peugeot Traveller, Opel Vivaro, etc. But it seems that this policy won't be of much use

That is a bummer. Thanks for pointing that out. I rented sport cars and was relying on worldwideinsure for excess coverage (e.g. 5K CHF for a Porsche 911).

Is anyone aware of an excess insurance that does not have such a limit (or a significantly higher one)?

Thanks
