Re: Common German Words while Purchasing Property

As a professional translator and interpreter, I have lot of experience translating property purchase documentation and interpreting for the notary's appointments (and have bought and sold myself several times) and I am not aware of any resource with a specific terminology list. You might be able to look on the Kudoz terminology on ProZ (https://www.proz.com/search/), as Swiss usage is usually marked, or even on Leo (https://dict.leo.org/german-english/) or Linguee (https://www.linguee.com/) but you'll have to put each term in yourself and ideally have enough knowledge of German to sort the right translation in the context from the wrong one in the wrong context.

If you need help with the formal documents and notary interpreting when it comes to it, let me know.
