In CH thats insurance so no & Job seekers allowance is only short term.
Social benefits in CH are repayable, so people who are given money after unemployment benefits run out for example.

Threshold will vary but if you are earning more than your minimum substance then you will be expected to start repaying the loan, given in a time of need. Very sensible it's to help you out of a sticky situation not a free gift.
