Hello,

I have been offered a teaching job in Hasliberg and enjoy the great outdoors I enjoy skiing and white waterkayaking, This is a big move for me and hope to ask you some questions which I hope will alleviate the dress of some serious decision making.

Cheers

Richie
So what are the questions?
If it's the Ecole d'Humanité you're heading to - please do! We need some Brits there to balance the Americans. LOL.

Yes, Goldern is isolated if you're into night-life etc. But as to the outdoor sports you will get your fill all year 'round and not only in your time off.
With the school run in English and German in all aspects and 24/7 it will be easy for you to settle immediately. The proportion of foreign students (as to compared to the Swiss students) was 47% last school-year. That is from all over the world.

Teaching wise it will also be a new experience for you!
I'd say grab the chance - but yes, I'm prejudice.

If it's not the Ecole d'Humanité, it could get a little lonely at the beginning. But that's the case for any expat here, as you can easily see in other threads.
