Before this little scare, they were talking about a very bad flu season, based on the previous Australian season ... which about now should be peaking in Europe...



here's the latest update... on the influenza outbreak that is current in Europe. The offiical line is that associated morbidity (death) is consistent with expectations...

The estimated prevalence of influenza last week in Switzerland was 140 cases per 100,000. That's just under 12,000 estimated influenza cases in Switzerland - well over the 'epidemic' threshhold...
