You should ask your local tax authority yourself. Some reasons why.

First, you live in an other canton which means rules and thresholds are different.

Second, the information an other person get might be incorrect.

Finally, unlike the other person you can not claim good faith if the information is incorrect.

Good faith means that if you ask the competent authority about a particular case and situation and you can trust the answers. Means, even if it is incorrect and not according what the law actually says you can not be punished if you follow the advice. You might have to pay the tax due, but other wise there is impunity from criminal proceeding and penalties.

Important: this is only possible if you ask yourself and the question is detailed enough that they can actually asses your particular case. Best if the communication is done in writing so you have proof in case it is needed. It is a single use get-out-of-jail-free card, once you know the answer was wrong you can no longer claim good faith.
