Re: Pre-employment Screening process

Keep the personal comments out of it, please. Some members clearly find health checks invasive and anxiety-inducing, others not. No one is right or wrong when it comes to what makes one feel uncomfortable. It just is.

I also think we've got two issues going on in this thread - a general pre-employment "screening" that has nothing to do with medical stuff but is more of a background check to see whether the potential employee has made up a bunch of qualifications.

Then there are pre-employment health screenings. I had one here, and was told it had to do with extra insurance and the pension plan. In the U.S. my pre-employment health screenings were always to check for illicit drugs and to make sure I wouldn't get hired and then immediately go on sick leave.
