In order to be sure look at all your electronics if you can find on the power brick (or device itself) somewhere if they support 220V. Pretty much all laptops will work but then it gets more difficult.
Hairdryers tend not to work (some models have a manual switch) and most kitchen appliances also don't work. Gas grills have a different connector (we converted our Weber). We gave a lot of stuff away and bought new especially in the kitchen.
I am still using our (at the time almost new) multi function color laser printer with a converter. Our move was paid for so packing it well and transporting it was not a problem vs buying new.
They are not that expensive but only worth if it the equipment is expensive.
Also if you have a lot of stuff that are located close to each other bring some US power strips along so you only need 1 adapter for the wall plug.
