It may not be the right time. I had a flatmate that worked on bar during the summers when the terrace was full of thirsty clients. She was asked to work extra hours in summer, had no job for her the rest of the year. Bar owners may get more flexible in 2-3 months.

Also, jobs in cities are more demanded. There are lots of hospitality jobs in the mountains which are less demanded. Big employers like hotels and resorts do get the permit for foreigners. I remember being in Valais (Bains d'Ovronnaz) and listening to strong French urban accent from lots of young employees, go to ski to Engelberg and my German colleagues identifying all the regional German accents.
