The EU response (or rather lack of) to the coronavirus has been remarkable. Whilst strong in regulation and ideology, the EU is hopeless in times of crisis. It was the case during the last financial crisis, also during the migrant crisis and now again during the coronavirus pandemic.

It may not yet be on the radar, but Italyís economy is finished, coronavirus being the proverbial straw that broke the camels back. The next euro crisis is just around the corner, now who believes the EU have learned the lessons from 12 years ago?!
