Ok this is a bit dark, but I have to bring it up (apologies if it's already been mentioned I missed it)...

I just got off the phone to my friend in the UK and she mentioned something that hadn't occurred to me.

With quarantines, isolation and people working from home, are there likely to be people in need of help who are victims of domestic abuse? They could be trapped at home with their abuser for a number of weeks with no excuse to get out, and/or no respite when their abuser can't go to work or out to socialise any more. Also the tension could cause things to ramp up a bit.

Is there a contingency plan for this demographic? Perhaps people could offer a spare room for them or something, but I wouldn't know how to implement something like this?
