But beware that your new country may want to tax the withdrawal, potentially as income! You might also be able to claim the tax at source back in many cases, again depends on your new country.
It can only be received in the UK 6 months after becoming UK resident.

If the withholding tax is reclaimed, the money has to be 'taxable' somewhere else
