Marton, I have read a lot about Remdesivir; it was formally a trial drug for Ebola and while it did not prove successful in treating Ebola, it was safe! Therein lies the caveat, as there is a safe drug which in a two fold blind testing has proven to increase patient's health by 30%. That is a significant statistic and according to Dr. Fauci who led the testing through the NIH, they are looking to improve on that percentage.

Given that Gilead, has DONATED 1.5 million vials of the drug, even if they don't improve on that 30% baseline, surely that is an improvement. To me why not? This may be a win/win...
