He's sleeping like a baby right now, and thankfully, his breathing sounds okay. I had given him something called "Olba's cough syrup" which is a honey-based, herbal syrup I buy from the States that says it also provides "bronchial support." It's excellent for dry coughs.
I hope he recovers quickly. Btw, if you are into herbal syrups I also had good experience with Weleda's (though never tried Olba's).
