Re: Hong Kong demonstrations

Why no demonstrations in Macau ?

Just out of interest are the new laws that China's seeking to impose on Hong Kong also going to be
imposed on Macau ?
As Macau ( a former Portuguese colony ) that was handed back to China in the same fashion as Hong Kong
was handed back to China, under the same terms of the 'one country, two systems' principle as HK.

So are the people of Macau simply more pro-Beijing than the people of Hong Kong ?, although it would be
interesting to know whether residents of Macau were entitled to keep Portuguse passports, the same as residents
of Hong Kong were entitiled to British Passports, for those born before the handover to China.
