Re: Import/export between Switzerland and EU or Asia

For personal rules start here: https://www.ch.ch/en/how-clear-perso...chased-abroad/

Business:

Exporting is pretty straight forward provided itís not arms, pharmaceuticals or chemical precursors.

You need to register with the customs client administration (ZKV) and get a CID
Submit an electronic declaration each time you export

Definitive guide is here: https://www.ezv.admin.ch/ezv/en/home...itzerland.html

Importing is more complicated.

Youíll need to be a company, registered for VAT and have an EORI number
An approved import agent to clear and forward the goods
VAT and duties (if any) need to be paid Ė Tariffs here: https://xtares.admin.ch/

Definitive guide is here: https://www.ezv.admin.ch/ezv/en/home...ing-goods.html
