Re: Border closure - Covid 19

Crossed the border yesterday afternoon into Germany nr Eglisau more out of curiosity than anything else as we were visiting friends living close to the border. Supermarkets were ransacked, Swiss cars everywhere, cafes & restaurants seemed well populated with a lot of folks sitting outside drinking, wearing a mask appeared to be mandatory around the shops and Diesel was 1.06 per litre compared to CHF1.50 where we live.

Border was remarkably free of traffic with a few folks stopping to get their paperwork stamped. Border guards out in force checking people's boots but we drove in/out without any hassle.

Heading deep into rural France this weekend to visit family so will be interesting to see how that compares.
