Yes, check some of my above replies. Tutti can't help me. They won't give me the sellers contact info due to data protection laws, but will give it to police if asked by police - hence police report.
I read that Tutti didn't give you the sellers number (understandable, though I am surprised you did not ask for his contact details when completing the sale), but I wondered if they could contact him on your behalf to mediate.

If not then sure, try the police and see what they say and let us know how it goes.
