Normally only the maximum amount is stated, which is normally only used for repeated offenders. The highest I have seen so far is CHF 2000.

Sorry, spent too much on the Jonathan Pie thread, learning that in the US the police does the catching, sentencing and executing now. So glad Switzerland is always a few decades behind "the times".
They do sentencing now? looks like the protest have not been in vain.
