Re: Polarised society:Why?

Life may be easier or more comfortable for us in many ways....yet people still create parallel realities to run from oneself, when one realizes how disingenuine and void of integrity and openess lives became.
The paradox many fail to see is that the "dis-ingenuity" of modern society is something that could be perceived only by people who are high on the Maslow pyramid. Let me be extreme to get the point across: if one is a medieval farmer in a village in the Alps, one doesn't ask himself these questions; it's all about survival and making sure there's enough grains on the field to get on the table and making sure one doesn't die from lack of heating. Moving quickly to 21st century, probably nobody on EF is struggling to plow enough grains for the winter so we have enough time to think about existential issues. Which leads to the paradox that we dislike the society which allowed us to ask these questions on the first place.
